‘’Bozaaaaa…’’
When you are at your sweet home, this scream coming from the street seller that sells boza in a dark, cold İstanbul night, signifies that winter has comed finally . As far as I know, Boza is the first type of drink coming from the beer family. It contains numerous kinds of vitamins and has a sour taste hich gives it the main character.
The essence of boza is malt, like in beer. If your aim is to drink a very tasty boza then you should visit Vefa Bozacısı in Vefa district of İstanbul. The place established in 1876, the founder is a migrant from Albania. And since 1876, the main recipe for production has never changed, so you can taste the same boza of nearly 130 years old.
